Well, here’s an update…
On other matters, I’m thinking I might need to lighten up the background of the comment area and depending on how easy it turns out to be, I may make a couple other small changes to the theme. Let me know if you find anything hard to read.
The next post is finally up. First one under the new theme…
Sorry about how late this is. I aim for early Tuesday and I’ve actually managed early Wednesday. And the main reason I’ve managed to get it up now is that I couldn’t sleep.
Note to self: Do not drink two cups of tea before going to bed. You will regret it.
I should also mention an annoying thing. I’m probably not going to update on Friday. I’m going camping this weekend and I’m leaving on Thursday. I will be on track to update next Tuesday though.
With this update we resolve a cliffhanger… Also, remember how I said it was longer than I expected? Figure it’s twice the length of some.
Starting on the next one now… I’m trying to get ahead so things get up on time for Friday. Friends of mine decided to start a science fiction book club. I’ll be going to the first meeting Thursday night.
The scene shifts and we get to see a couple characters that haven’t appeared for a while–plus the odd costumed menace.
I wanted to put more stuff into this post than I did, but it would have been a lot longer…
Okay. It’s up.
And just for what it’s worth, I thought I’d point out that I’m using Twitter to let people know about update progress. That way I don’t have to continually write something like “not yet ready to post… Wait… It’s almost ready… Well it could be ready in minute… But it’s actually going to be ready tomorrow,” into posts that I then delete the next day anyway.
I can do that in Twitter instead and evidence of my inconsistency can be kept for the ages.
Another update. Sadly, this scene is too long for one post and so it’ll be continued on Friday…
Another update. It’s sort of on time if by on time you mean it was completed on the day it was supposed to appear. Sort of.
Well anyway, you’ll get a chance to run into one of the two surviving members of the original Heroes League in this post. That’s something to look forward to even if the specific circumstances of the meeting are a little depressing.
One of these days, I’d like to write story that’s completely the original League set in the 50’s or 60’s or something. Not sure when I’ll do it, but it would be cool.
