A quick look at the top of the page will show you that a cast page now exists and includes a lot of names (but only three descriptions with any detail). I plan to add more description one character at a time.
If you’re someone who’s prone to checking the title of the story arc, you’ll be interested to discover that we’ve started another section. The last one moved a little more slowly than I’d like. Hopefully I’ll be able to avoid that in the current section.
It was finished last night around 1 am, but I thought I’d wait until this morning to post it. I didn’t particularly trust my judgment at that point.
This morning came and I had a business meeting, issues related to three or four different clients, research to do on a programming problem, and before I knew it it was 8 pm… And I still hadn’t eaten supper.
There you have it, that’s how updates get posted almost 24 hours after they get finished.
I finished it last night and revised it a little this morning. You can look forward to finding three new characters, but still no cast page. Maybe I’ll get more done on that this weekend…
So here’s something odd that happened today. Someone sent me an email addressed to Nick. Not the Nick in the story, but some Nick who has the same last name I do and appears to go to college somewhere in California.
I have no idea what’s up with that.
To me, it seems obvious that this is a web serial and not a personal blog. I can’t imagine that anyone who read very far could confuse this for reality–especially not someone with a doctorate.
The email appears to be a note from one of his profs.
Seriously.
It’s late, but it’s here. It’s also a bit longer than normal.
This one’s not even arguably on Thursday. As I write this, it is Friday, but you know what? I’m cheating. I’ve just edited the timestamp to have this post show it was posted on Thursday anyway.
One more thing I should mention. I’m shocked that I’ve managed to get eight updates into this story without anybody getting punched. In a story about superheroes there’s got to be something wrong when that happens. Thus you’ll be happy to know that someone finally does get punched in this installment.
And the Tuesday update finally appears. The day’s what, only three-fourths finished? I’m thinking that still counts for Tuesday–except maybe in countries where it’s already Wednesday.
Finally the update is actually up. I’m looking forward to a week where I have more time to write and more importantly, more time to revise.

Anyway, the funny part about having a Tuesday/Thursday update schedule is that you have many more days to write the Tuesday update than the Thursday update. To my relief, this update came pretty easily.
